Omaha is fortunate to have an active and engaged population of young professionals. The Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Young Professionals group's mission is to engage young professionals to promote positive change by promoting homeownership throughout our community in partnership with Habitat Omaha. Our vision is to eliminate poverty housing through volunteerism, advocacy and fundraising. The Habitat Omaha YP group is a self-directed entity acting in support of Habitat Omaha's mission. Its three areas of focus include:
- Fundraising - To support Habitat's efforts in building affordable housing
- Advocacy - To educate decision makers and the general public on poverty housing issues
- Volunteering - To engage young professionals in Habitat Omaha's volunteer opportunities
